The filling station (VIVA), Restaurant, and Farmstall (KUMI) was established in December 2010 by husband-and-wife Jaco and Roelien le Roux.
Here at Kumi we pride ourselves in giving our customers an unforgettable experience filled with good food, locally produced fruits and nuts, homemade jams, rusks and biscuits.
When the citrus season kicks in we produce freshly squeezed juice with naartjies and oranges sourced from our very own farm. We love seeing customers and locals leaving our shop with smiles on their faces and returning eagerly for more. We even have a nursery where you can take home your own little plant child.
Within this industry, we believe in serving others and giving our all for the greater good. That good being a filled tank, full tummy, and happy client.
We saw there was an opportunity to not only provide the locals with fuel but travellers from across the world. We took the chance to give them everything they needed to refuel, regroup and reevaluate for their long journey ahead. We wanted to create the ideal pitstop for any traveller coming this way.
We encourage all future travellers to come to see our pitstop for themselves. A place with good food, even better coffee, fresh produce, and products to satisfy our clients’ needs.
